Owner Operated, Phoenix AZ

You're Hiring The Owner, Not A Sales Team.

Handy Lanfourd, Owner · On Your Roof Every Day

We're a local, owner operated roofing company in Phoenix. The owner inspects and quotes every roof.

Most roofing companies send a salesman before a roofer. His commission ends up in your price.

We don't have a salesman or a big office, so you save $2,000 to $3,000 on new paper.

A lower price doesn't mean cutting corners. Every roof gets ice and water paper sealed straight to the wood.

The Top Notch Difference

Why Our Price Is Lower And Our Paper Is Better

Smaller company. Fair price. Better paper under your tile.

Save $2,000 To $3,000

We're small and owner operated. There's no salesman's commission in your price.

The Owner Inspects Every Roof

It's free and takes about an hour. You get a written price on the spot.

Ice And Water Shield, Not Felt

Old paper comes off to bare wood. The new paper is self adhered and heat sealed right to it.

Your Own Tile Goes Back On

We stack it, swap any cracked tiles, then reset it. You're not buying new tile.

30-Year Warranty On The Paper

Plus 10 years on our labor, and it transfers if you ever sell the house.

You Pay When It's Done

There's nothing to put down before we start. You pay once you've seen the roof.

Got Questions?

Answers To The Questions We Hear Most

Under your tile there's a layer of paper. That paper is what actually keeps the water out. The tile is there to hold it down and protect it from the sun. In Phoenix that paper dries out and cracks after about twenty years. Once it goes, water gets to the wood. Putting new paper down is the fix, and your tile stays.
No. We lift your tile, stack it on the roof, and put the same tile back on once the new paper is down. Any cracked tiles get replaced. This isn't a full tile replacement and you're not paying for one.
Two reasons. Most roofing companies send a salesman out before they send a roofer, and his commission ends up in your quote. They've also got an office and staff to pay for every month. We don't carry any of that. The owner writes your price, and you're paying for the roof and the material. On the same job that's usually $2,000 to $3,000 less.
It's the other way around. A lot of quotes have cheap felt going down under your tile. We use ice and water shield. It's self adhered and heat sealed so it bonds to the wood, and it carries a 30-year manufacturer warranty. We're not the cheapest roofer in Phoenix. We're a fair price on better material.
You don't. There's nothing to put down before we start. You pay when the job's done and you've seen the work.
The owner does, on every roof, so you're not getting a sales rep at your door. It takes about an hour. Inspections run Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and some Saturdays by appointment.
You get 30 years on the ice and water paper from the manufacturer, and 10 years on our labor. Both are in writing before we start. If you sell the house, the labor warranty transfers to the new owner.
Yes. Military, police, firefighters, first responders and gold star families get a discount. Just mention it when we come out to look at the roof.
